The body of a 26-year-old Belgrade man was found at a gravel pit in Belgrade earlier Monday was identified in an afternoon press release from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office identified the man as Jakob Michael Page. Sheriff Dan Springer told the Chronicle in the morning that there was no immediate risk to the general public. The afternoon press release stated that foul play was not suspected.


At around 8:20 a.m. on Monday morning, the sheriff’s office responded to a call that a body had been found at the Knife River Gravel Pit along Frontage Road near the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
